Privacy policy
Wednesdays Golf Club organises golf editions for founders. Below is what we keep about you, why, and what you can do about it. In plain language, which is more use to you than a wall of legal text.
Wednesdays Golf Club, based in Antwerp, Belgium. We decide what we keep and why. You can reach us at @wednesdays.golf on Instagram.
If you only leave your email address, we keep that address and the moment you signed up. Nothing else.
If you then fill in the sign-up form, we add: your first and last name, phone number, company, what you are building, your role, your region, your handicap, your federation number, why you want to play, how you know us, and your LinkedIn profile if you give it.
To review your sign-up, to put the flights together, and to tell you when and where we play. We need your federation number and handicap because the golf club we play at asks for them. We do not use your data to send you other people's advertising, and we sell it to no one.
On your consent. You give it when you leave your email address or submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time, without giving a reason.
Only the people who run Wednesdays. Two exceptions. The golf club where we play receives that day's player list with name, handicap and federation number, because they need it to let you tee off. And the three other players in your flight see your first name and your company, otherwise there is not much golf to be had.
Our website runs on Netlify, a hosting partner in the United States. Data may be processed outside the European Union under the standard contractual clauses laid down by the European Commission.
As long as you are part of the club or want to stay on our list. If two years pass with no contact either way, we delete your data. If you ask us to remove it sooner, we do it straight away.
We use no tracking cookies and we do not measure your behaviour with analytics software. If you log in as a member, we set one functional cookie that remembers it is you. That is all.
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to its use, or receive it in a readable file. One message is enough, we do not need a form.
If you feel we are not treating you properly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
If anything about this policy changes, we update this page and put the new date below it.
